It seems like DC isn't even bothering to wait for a canon foreigner to appear anymore before immigrating them to the comics, because here's a character who's already appeared in the pages of Green Lantern over half a year before Green Lantern: The Animated Series ever aired. At any rate, Aya is the onboard computer of a ship known as the Interceptor; her name comes from Hal Jordan's mispronunciation of "AI". She first appeared in Green Lantern #65 (April 2011) and appeared in the Green Lantern: TAS premiere episode, "Beware My Power" (November 2011).
